2012 Schwarz The Dust Kicker Rosé

schwarz 2011-DK-Rose-full-sizeApparently this Rosé receives battonage weekly post fermentation. There’s still very little in the way of texture on display. It’s crisp, clean and fresh. 60% Grenache, 40% Mataro

Smells of cherries, strawberry creams and raspberry with a suggestion of spice. The palate is very citrusy and simple. Lots of acid, very dry. You can slam it down easily enough but it is wholly unremarkable. 86 Average

Region Barossa Valley
Alcohol: 12.8%
