2012 Veronique Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon

imageI can’t find the bottle or a press release so I assume I’ve thrown them out. I live in a small flat which gets cluttered quickly. Anyway this tastes like the Eden Valley to me. I’m sure someone will let me know if I’m wrong.

Blackcurrants, mint, a fair clip of chocolate and sawdust oak, some caramelised vegetables and a little malt. Fairly pedestrian. Sweet and friendly flavours and aromas feel a little odd in the presence of a lot of woody, unsophisticated tannin. Warm and slightly thinned by alcohol. 87

Region: Barossa
Alcohol: 14.7%

IT SAYS EDEN VALLEY ON THE BACK LABEL.

  3. Good to know. As written in the first paragraph I seem to have thrown the bottle out and my note just reads “2012 Veronique Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon”. Not a wine I thought much of regardless.
