2013 Mesh Eden Valley Riesling

imageThe collaboration between Jeffrey Grosset and Robert Hill Smith continues to pay dividends.

Limes, lemon and orange rind. Slatey and coiled but the acidity isn’t at all harsh. Rather it has great depth. A hint of fennel bulb with a tingling bath salt epilogue. There is a quiet yet unnerving persistence and drive which should see it age well. 93+
