The Alexander Munro is now released as a five year-old and a ten year-old wine. A pretty smart idea for those who don’t have a cellar or wine fridge…or for those who just want to tuck in straight away.
Blackberry over red cherry-berry fruits seguing into vanilla cola and plum. Pepper and cloves. A fair clip of cedary oak. Needs a decant to allow the acidity to settle and the leathery tannin to sink in. There is some earthen development but no doubt there’s more to come. 93
