A new line from the Yalumba/Hill Smith family. Perfunctory, dry Sauvignon Blanc from Wrattonbully. The irony of naming such a wine after an explorer is not lost on me.
Lemon, herbs with a hint of gooseberry with a chalky finish. Has just enough flavour to cope with the acidity. Not an overly pungent model. No real length. Competent. Not much more to say. 86
