Once again, 100% Pinot Noir but not a Rosé style. No shortage of character in these Clouet Champagnes. Exciting wines that push the envelope but still have a certain sense of clarity.
Generous but with a firm, almost wiry line. The bead is perhaps not the finest but the mouthfeel isn’t too sharp. Red apples, earthen notes, honeyed nuts, marzipan and cherry/berry fruits. Spicy little minx. Confronting but in the most positive manner. 93
