Much to like about this Tempranillo from Chapel Hill, and like it I do. It’s savoury, refreshing and extremely food friendly. What it lacks in length it makes up for in structure and charm. I’d be drinking it sooner rather than later – and that’s not a difficult proposition.
A strongly varietal nose and palate. Purple fruits, snapped twigs, dried herbs, cola and dusty spice. Comely acidity and plenty of ripe tannic grip on the finish. There’s a hint of tea leaf in here as well. In one word, gratifying. 91 Good
