Sweeter and displaying a little more oomph than the Shiraz Mourvèdre reviewed below. Depth of fruit is impressive. Sourced entirely from the Strathbogie Ranges.
Boysenberry peaks over a core of blackberry and satsuma plum. Pepper and dark chocolate with sweet cinnamon and nutmeg spice. Coffeed oak is matched to the fruit and adds a savoury dimension. Plenty of gravelly tannin. Concludes on a minty note with a granitic/graphite dimension. 90
