Sourced from vineyards in the Upper Yarra Valley. The warmer vintage produces a wine of concentration, richness and a degree of breadth.
Rockmelon, white peach, grapefruit and pithy lemon. A tad syrupy but never amorphous. Some vanilla and a mere hint of smoked almonds. Adroit oak input. Curvaceous with a decent line of acid running through it. Cinnamon and nutmeg spice. Slightly bitter to close but not in an overly distracting way. 89
