2012 Zeppelin Big Bertha Shiraz

ZepSh09B_161_582This is bombastic. Lacks any finesse but will suit a certain subset of drinkers and isn’t over-priced.

Ripe, sweet, curranty, plummy, glossy and warm. A big wine. Not much in the way of definition or detail. The acid is spiky and adjunct, the line broken at certain points. Lots of flavour though. 87
