2012 S.C. Pannell Old Vine Garnacha Blend Tinto

sc pannell pronto tintoA blend of Grenache and Touriga, sourced from both McLaren Vale and the Barossa this time round. The last release of the S.C. Pannell Tinto (2010) was labelled solely as McLaren Vale.

Fresh, spicy red and black cherries, raspberries and lavender. Some licorice, tea leaf and earth as well. Judicious oak and prominent, dry tannic form. Neat interplay of savoury and sweeter elements. I preferred the 2010 but I’m more than happy to drink this. 91
