Sourced from younger vines on the family’s property in Veneto toward the north-east of Italy. The only wine in the Marion stable that doesn’t incorporate dried grapes. A blend of Corvino, Rondinella and Molinara. Imported by Franc About Wine.
Bucolic. Juicy, fruity and tannic in equal measures. Not much in the way of finesse but satisfying with the right food. Red cherries over darker berries with aniseed, almonds, asphalt, dried herbs and leather. Medium-bodied. Good weeknight fare. 89
