My first look at a wine made solely under the direction of Justin Purser at Best’s. It’s in the house style – balanced residual sugar adding body and roundness.
Ultra floral. White flowers bloom from the bottle before it even hits the glass. There is a good line of acidity allowing finger limes and papaya to be elucidated in a convincing manner. A touch of grip on the finish. A little more intensity would garner higher points but I enjoyed this a lot and in the proper context it would be a terrific wine to serve. 92
