The 2010 Angelus was always going to be a difficult act to follow but considering the difficulties of the season Wirra Wirra have done well.
More plums than blackberries with nippy acidity and assertive tannin. This will need time. As a young wine the structure comes across as a little unhinged. Hints of mint and tomato bush and a strong cedary oak presence. It has length but the parts need to mesh. I suspect they will at some stage over the next five to ten years. 89+
