This is the first Australian Verdejo I’ve come across. And it’s pretty good. Reminds me of why I once held a fair amount of respect for Trentham Estate. Wish I had a bottle image to promote it.
It has some texture and presence, a touch of brine and plentiful tropical fruits; melon, pineapple, apples and peaches. Good shape, just a bit spicy and slightly grippy on the finish. Thirst quenching gear for the summer ahead. Certainly offers value. 89
