A blend of Savagnin, Verdelho and Roussanne with the latter expressing itself very clearly. Textured, deftly phenolic and interesting to drink. Probably even better with a plate of the right food.
Smells of nectarines, tropical fruits, leesy funk and cupboard spices with suggestions of herbal tea, ginger and fennel pollen. The palate adds a thrust of citrus. Good flow and form. Moves beyond dry, fruit driven white territory into an area that centres on mouthfeel and is more savoury and vinous in general. I rather enjoyed this. 90
