A fair amount of acid slicing through the flavours in this year’s Lost Watch Riesling. Could do with some more time in the bottle unless you like them especially frisky or nervous.
Lemons, limes, tart green apple skins and talc. A bit of pithy bitterness to close. A chaste wine, at least in its youth. It has length and a certain kind of intensity but I think we’re playing a bit of a guessing game when it comes to assessing how that acid will settle. At the moment it’s a touch prominent and coarse. 89+
