The King Valley Prosecco train rolls on. Redbank’s version isn’t up there with Pizzini’s, Dal Zotto’s or either the vintage or NV Brown Brothers releases but it’s a fun drink if you can find it at a keen price. Shame about the cork closure.
Green apples and apple blossom, melon, hints of lime sherbet and a handful of nuts. Crunchy with a touch of grip at the end. It’s a bit rough – not about finesse or complexity but then again, those aren’t characters I expect to find in less expensive takes on the style. Finishes near enough to dry. 87
