2012 Oakridge Over the Shoulder Pinot Grigio

oakridge over the shoulder pgCorrectly labelled Pinot Grigio, this is a wine of suggestions not statements. Yes, there is  a degree of neutrality apparent but if you look closely it’s more than white on white.

Whispers of Anjou pear and green apple, white flowers and lime. Nine months on lees has imparted sponge and almond traits, a little palate weight and a gentle mouthfeel. It snaps into crisp focus on the back-palate with citrus and mineral refreshment. Hard to score wines like this but I appreciate the interpretation offered. 88 Good
