Please excuse the dead air over the last couple of days. A tasting with Australia’s First Families of Wine along with a pesky chest infection have made sure there’s been little movement on the tasting bench. Anyway, here are some notes I prepared earlier…
Ripe pear with a hint of stonefruit. Sweet spice. Slippery rather than oily or greasy in the mouth. Has some palate weight but should fill out more over the next year. The acidity will hold it in good stead as it does. Fairly dry, briney finish. A solid take on the variety and style. 89 Good
