2012 Montalto Pennon Hill Pinot Grigio

pennon_hill_pinot_grigio_verticleA fuller, rounder more forward expression of Pinot Grigio and one that I’d be happy to have on my table. Fruit is primarily but not solely from the Pennon Hill Vineyard.

There’s flavour and ripeness here. Pears and apples, almonds and florals. No discernible residual sugar. Soft, citrusy acidity runs through the palate and hangs around a bit on the finish. Nothing overly thrilling but certainly well-crafted. Should please many. 88 Good
