Hey hey, another Australian Tempranillo that I like. The tide could be turning.
Plenty of ripe cherry/berry fruits and sarsaparilla as you’d expect but the complexity comes via blood orange zest. The whole experience bears some resemblance to a Cherry Negroni, with attractive suggestions of sourness woven through sweet fruit. Tannins are fine but clump together. It’s an Australian Tempranillo thing I reckon. Flocking behaviour. 92 Very Good
