The Massale usually offers a good hit of fruit flavour although that has been toned down with this release, presumably due to vintage conditions. It’s a little more complex.
Fruit hovers between raspberry and red cherry hightones and underlying darker notes. Some herb and bracken action. There’s plenty of bright acidity but it doesn’t feel too agressive. Tart cranberry traits wrap things up along with ripe chalky tannin. Pretty good drinking all up. 88 Good
