An inexpensive Spanish blend of Viura and Verdejo imported by Echelon Wine Partners. It’s more of a curio and I’m pretty sure it would have been better as a younger wine. A bit too loose and easy on the tongue. Lacks verve.
Bickford’s Lime Cordial, melon, honey and lemon drops, bitter almond skins and brine. A touch of spice and a twist of fresh citrus saves the back-palate. The back label suggests serving it well chilled and I reckon it’s spot on there. Ok for a change. 86 Average
