The Steingarten is the best wine in the Jacob’s Creek stable these days, hands down. Awful new livery…but everyone’s talking about Petaluma’s horrible labels at the moment so I think they’ll get away with it.
The wine itself is crackerjack. It’s a tense and tortile example of young Riesling just aching for long stint in the cellar. Limes, jasmine and orange citrus on the nose, pure mineral focus on the palate. Shoots off into the distance at the end. Purity and precision in one package. 94+ Excellent

I don’t mind the new look. For starters, it distances the range from the Jacobs Creek brand, and that seems like a good thing to me. Wine sounds quite OK too. Many times better looking than the Petaluma white label design.
Could just be I can’t stand Pro Hart, who has provided the picture Those Petaluma labels…oh, lordy!
Ah, can’t make out that its Pro Hart with the tiny bottle shot. Those carpet ads were enough to put anyone off
