2010 Medhurst Cabernet Sauvignon

Classy, elegant Cabernet from the Yarra Valley. The 2010 season was a good one, with red varieties in particular excelling. Medhurst have made the most of it.

Crème de cassis leads from the front in a luscious manner with red cherry highlights brightening the fruit profile. Autumnal leaf, cedary oak and dark chocolate play their parts. It’s all slinky, spicy and velvety in the mouth with plenty of fine, chalky tannin providing structure. Sexy stuff. 93 Very Good
