2012 Kirrihill Serendipity Vineyard Pinot Grigio

Made for a very specific demographic I suspect. One that probably doesn’t visit this kind of site very often. Certainly won’t help the confusion between Gris and Grigio.

As much about sherbet and boiled lollies as it is about pears on the nose. Lacks textural interest (just a neutral line of acid attempting to mimic crispness) as well as any semblance of complexity. I don’t find it particularly easy to drink – mainly because I find the flavour profile insipid and unpleasant. Saccharin in the literal sense. A twist of citrus is all it can hang its hat on. I couldn’t find a current bottle image so I’ve had to improvise. 82 Below Average
