I haven’t had a bottle of this for a while but it seems to have maintained its form. It tastes of peaches in syrup, pineapple and melon with some clunky butterscotch and spice delivered via oak staves. The finish isn’t great – too ‘faux mandarin’ saccharine. It’s nothing to write home about but there are worse wines that will make a bigger dent in your pocket. Average
