2009 Le Chat Noir Rosé

Aude Valley, France 12.5% Screwcap $15.99

Oh the irony. The only Rosé I tasted on the day of the revolution that had a noticeable sweetness about it was from France, not Australia. Nice enough wine though, fair price. 100% Cinsault for the record.

An array of red fruits, some more confected than others. Gentle, creamy palate and mouth feel with more weight than many (but it’s still not heavy). The spun sugar sweetness is balanced nicely by some tangerine citrus on a somewhat expansive finish.

Not entirely at pointy end of the refreshing Rosé spectrum but it slides down well and performs its function with just a little finesse.

Importer, I'm pretty sure, is fourth wave wine.
Thought it was pretty good. Dry spicy finish.

Yes, my mistake, it's Fourth Wave Wine. Thanks for that, will fix it up now. Liked it well enough and it's fair value.
