2014 Yangarra Estate PF Shiraz

imageMade without additions of any kind. PF stands for “preservative free”. Picked on pH, so the lower ABV is more a result of practicality than intent. Perfectly ripe though. Quite amazing really.

Just as you might expect in terms of profile – very primary. Succulent, energetic mulberry and cherry fruits to the fore. Some complexity of flavour via wild ferment; deli meats and the like. Peppery five-spice with hints of ginger, Lindt balls and sarsaparilla root. Crunchy tannin. Sessionable, tasty and eye-opening. 90
