Tasted very briefly over dinner at The Victory earlier this year and again at a more leisurely pace this month.
Powerful plum and blackberry fruit is matched step for step by a strong strike of tannin. Rare meat and an undercurrent of ironstone. It’s on the spicy side and a good deal of choc-licorice flavour mingles with the other components. Maintains excellent form and drives confidently through the mouth. Oak is but a bit player. 93

No 2012 Shiraz sent yet?
Yep, have it here along with a bunch of 2012 Vale Shiraz. Down with the flu ATM but will taste in a bracket as soon as I recover.
Ha. Me too. That’s why I was looking for your review. Can’t taste a thing!
Have already missed 2010 Barolo tasting and some very good Burgundy. I’m beginning to lose my sense of humour about it Chance of 2004 Comte tomorrow night. I have purchased healing crystals to help my body’s natural defense mechanisms.
