A powerful Vale Shiraz from the Sellick’s Hill subregion. In Scarce Earth parlance it belongs to the Christies Beach geological formation. Owners Paul and Tracy Smith were seeking a vineyard with a maritime influence.
Black cherry-berry fruits, fleshy plums, vanilla and blue floral mouth perfume. The tannin is particularly fine and serves to extend the finish. Seasoned with sweet spice. A little jubey with licorice in tow. 91
