The label reads Pinot Noir Rosé. The blend is 86% Pinot Noir with Grenache, Gris and Syrah making up the balance. Full malo, 100% cask ferment, a bit of lees.
Musky and slightly earthen aromas mingle with strawberries, rose petals and raspberries. Plenty of body. Creamy and a touch sticky with pinching tannin. Doesn’t flow quite as I’d like. Some cleansing lemon acidity pokes through on the back-palate. That fullness should allow it to stand up to bolder dishes. 88
