From the Lenswood subregion of the Adelaide Hills. As always there’s a hefty amount of cashew, toast and cinnamon oak in the mix. All French, 35% new. It’s a mere pup and needs more time in the bottle to integrate.
The fruit is actually very linear, the core all lemons and minerality; quartz-like perhaps but in an evocative rather than literal sense. It does extend into white peach as it breathes. I believe there’s balance although the imprint of those barrels will always be strong. 90+
