The 2012 was more to my tastes but that doesn’t detract from this vintage at all.
Raspberries and kirsch over black fruits. Barossan generosity, just under full-bodied with quality tannic structure for the price. Savoury dark chocolate and nuances of pan juices. Plenty of reach too. 92

The 2011 was drinkable right off the bat. I stashed the 2012s away and am only just starting on them now. Would I be better off buying the 2013s at auction in a few years time?
Matt – I reckon the 2013 is drinking well straight off the bat. No need to wait.
