2012 Under & Over King Valley Pinot Gris

imageSays Gris on the label but I’ll eat my hat if it’s not Grigio in style.

Mineral neutrality, slightly coarse acidity, touch of sea spray/shell. Nothing more than a subliminal suggestion of green apple and Nashi pear. Not much to it really. Clean crisp white to sit beside your seafood on a hot day. 86

  2. A wafer thin fascinator with layers of custard and salted caramel separating the various fabrics.

Fair choice. Probably not one to wear to the races on a warm day though.

  4. Oh, I never go to the races. My collection of fascinators is purely for my own enjoyment and that of the few guests I host in my humble flat from time to time.

Wise. You wouldn’t want to be in the social pages of the Sunday Mail with cheap grigio and caramel all over your frock!

  6. Or be seen in the Sunday Mail full-stop for that matter.
