Production of 110 dozen sourced from Clare Valley bush vines ranging between thirty and eighty years of age.
Around the medium-bodied mark with dark red berry-cherry fruit, sarsaparilla, charcoal overtones of black Cyprus salt and malt. Minty refreshment. The acidity is a touch nervy, the tannin grainy. Sweet but not lolly-like. Doesn’t quite pull through the finish as much as I’d like. 89
