Interesting for a Semillon Sauvignon Blanc to be held back a year longer than the Chardonnay. Not usually the case.
This lacks some intensity but I like the textural nous on display. Tangy acidity covered by a thin cloak of lees and oak. Lemons, gooseberry and nettles on the nose. Savoury bready notes, asparagus and cut grass. A whisper of unripe passionfruit makes itself known as it moves through its line. Pretty good reach through the back-palate. Sound warm weather fare. 88
