Regional if unremarkable Margaret River Chardonnay.
Driven by primary fruit with an inexpensive oak overlay. Smells and tastes of peaches, melon, lemons and wood-spice, French vanilla, butterscotch and toast courtesy of barrel work. Neat as you like with a gently creamy mouthfeel and a clean acid line. Full of flavour but not a cumbersome wine. Very polished. 89
