From a warmer, dryer vintage than the excellent 2012. I’m not as fond of it but it’s a worthy follow-up nonetheless and true to the conditions in which it was conceived.
Rather fleshy and peachy. Prominent pineapple and coconut – and that piña colada flavour won’t be for everyone. Still maintains a strong line of green apple acid. Sweetly spiced. What it really has going for it is purpose and persistence. It drives strongly and with intent through the palate. 91
