Winemaker Bryan Martin’s first shot at a Nebbiolo. I find it a little on the ripe side and the structure could do with some work but it scratches the itch at a fair price point.
Hay bales, raspberries and macerated cherries, bitumen, blueberry and dusty potpourri. The fruit is rather concentrated and a tad confected lessening the angularity of the variety somewhat. Still, there’s plenty of acid and almost aggressive tannin. More than worth pursuing in the future. 89
