A wine that I look forward to tasting each year. It hasn’t managed to maintain the high standards set in place from 2010 to 2012 but it’s still a worthwhile option.
Melony and slightly syrupy with peach, pineapple and ruby grapefruit. Some figs and almonds. The generosity of a warmer season encased in nutty oak. What’s missing is the minerality, incisiveness and extension. Slightly rugged. Despite the relative lack of focus and flow it should please many. 89

Agree 100% on this Jeremy I was genuinely disappointed after the high of the 2012. Seemed overripe and unfocused. Will be interesting to see if this is a pattern with the other Mornington 2013′s. Cheers, Tom
Yes, this was my first Tom so I won’t rush to any hasty conclusions but it will be interesting to see which Mornington Peninsula Chardonnays stand out as more cross the tasting bench.
