Tropically accented Vermentino with a lemony undertow and substantial body. A good example of why we should be wary of making assumptions based on listed ABVs.
Melon and stonefruit mid-palate weight, some herbaceous notes. A few sugar coated almonds. Texture mixes glycerol-like traits with the expected leesy creaminess. It’s around medium-bodied and lacks finesse. You wouldn’t call it flabby though – acidity takes care of that. The finish has a bit of traction. I think it’s somewhat stubby overall, presenting mostly as a generic fruity white wine. 86
