So, “one small parcel” of this was “held on skins prior to pressing to enhance the richness and flavour of the resulting wine”. I fear that the mention of skin contact when it comes to white wine will be the new ‘minimal intervention’ of press releases over the next few years. It will dilute the message and what was once innovative will shuffle over to the passé realm of marketing. Symbolic recuperation at its finest. Beware ye revolutionaries…
Speaking of dilute, this presents as syrupy and dilute at the same time. Biting acid is out of tune with flavour. Pineapple, passionfruit and herbs with a touch of capsicum. I guess you’d be buying on price. Hot day, fish, chips, new romance and a beach might not hurt either. 84
