Tasted blind in a bracket of mostly 2012 Chardonnays. I got a shock when I saw the RRP.
A Baudrillardian wine – all surface. Two dimensional. Pear, pineapple, white peach. Sweet nougat oak. Syrupy as much as creamy. Fades on the back-palate. Cool memories. Not a poor effort but the value for money is difficult to see. 88

You haven’t been getting into the green fairy have you Jeremy? Baudrillardian!
Have to agree,
Very overrated wine.
I’m not predisposed about the wines I drink and enjoy a Chardonnay usually,
this is the first wine in a long time I’ll not be finishing.
2/5.
Whatever is happening at Forester Estate…isn’t good.
