A bruiser of a Shiraz from Langhorne Creek. Hot on the finish.
Prunes, lots of eucalyptus, plums and vanilla. Desiccated fruit. Cinnamon and clove spice. Big flavours, bold oak. Tarry and spirity. The line is broken by the alcohol and the flavours don’t hang together. It’s actually not that soupy but I can’t rate it highly. It lacks balance. 85
