2012 TarraWarra Estate Chardonnay

tarrawarra es chardWhile I might save my pennies for the Reserve TarraWarra Chardonnay there’s plenty of people out there who aren’t looking to spend that amount of money or don’t really fret much about the gulf in quality. This is easy-going, affable gear.

White peach verging on more tropical notes with nectarine, citrus and fresh cream on the nose. Some savoury, nutty influence. While the flavour profile is generous and the oak a major player it doesn’t have a great deal of intensity. Very solid though. 88
