Flat out the best Granite Belt Chardonnay I’ve tasted. There’s a lot of French oak here and it’s a few years off showing its best but the quality is obvious.
White peach, citrus, toasted sourdough, almonds and woodspice. A bit of funk. Flinty and enduring. Flaunts its line and length but exhibits a bit of texture. Savoury and compelling. A wine you want to spend time with. 92+

I also thought this was good, albeit in a style I dislike. Really encouraging. Like what Ridgemill are doing.
They’re showing a lot of promise with Chardonnay. I had a sneak peak at the 2013 and the oak is lower in the mix. Liked it too.
Noice.
Tried their ’11 Tempranillo again last night. Less enamoured this time than last time. Got a bottle of the Orange wine to have a look at when I’m feeling particularly brave.
