A bit of finesse about this Malbec from Geoff Hardy. It doesn’t smash you over the head with jammy fruit which is a plus. Sourced from a vineyard in Langhorne Creek.
Blackberry, dark cherry and plum with a sheen of vanilla oak. Smoothed out with a little fleshiness. Well pitched acidity, smudgy tannin. Hints of crushed brown spice and leather. I believe this is the first release and it shows promise. 89
