There is a lot of toasty, biscuity (think macaroons and shortbread) oak encasing this but underneath the core of pristine fruit is impossible to deny.
Fresh, intense nectarine and white peach with a spine of grapefruit acidity gathering the wine together and carrying it through its line. Nutty and slightly smoky on the back-palate. Give it about five years and it should be a bloody good Chardonnay. 93
